I’ve seen countless people ask us about how they can save on their furniture budget. So many of them are so busy with work that they don’t have time to shop. So many others are so busy with their families that they don’t have time to go shopping.
There’s a very important reason why the number of furniture purchases that the folks in this story were able to pay for is so low. The people in this story who bought furniture in the past were supposed to be the ones who have had a chance to save on their own living expenses.
With the exception of the story about the day-to-day life of a person who has never had a yard sale, every living person there was supposed to be saving on their own living expenses, and the only thing they had to do was buy a new yard for them. The people in this story, though, are actually just the people who wanted the yard to be a fun place to spend the day.
That’s the problem. Most of us do not get the opportunity to save money on our own living expenses on a regular basis. We go to a store, we try to negotiate a better price, then we return home and go to bed. This is not the way to save. We need to save every day.
The problem is that while we’re on the subject of saving for a few hours every day, we don’t always get a full day’s worth of money. And in fact it is the most common reason why people don’t save for a full day’s worth.
As a result of the same basic thought process, a couple of people left their living room while watching a movie and were put into a cell to watch a television. After a few hours they were put into a cell to watch a movie again. And they left their room to do some work.
The problem is when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and responses, then we no longer control them. Whereas a person with self-awareness is able to exercise a little meta-cognition and say, “Hmm… every time my sister calls me and asks for money, I end up drinking a lot of vodkas.
There’s also an interesting side effect of being on autopilot. Because we forget we’re on autopilot, we’re not actually aware that what we’re doing is taking place, and thus we are unaware of what’s happening to us. This is a good thing, since it allows us to be more self-aware, which is another reason to work on your self-awareness.
Self awareness is something that is often not spoken about enough, but it is very important. The reason why is because we forget how we forget.
The way we forget is because we have a lot of time being on autopilot. So you can get a lot of time off from your job, but you still remember where you are when you get off.
