You are right. Cliches can help with the writing process and in general, cliches tend to be good. They are generally about things that happen to us in the past, or that we would like to happen in the future. Cliches are also fun. Although, when I try to think of cliches I don’t think of them as funny at all. I guess I just didn’t think of them like that in the first place.
