We need to start taking a cue from the marketing agencies. We need to start being a little more creative. We need to start visualizing and envisioning our ideas before we act on them. We need to start imagining how our ideas will be used and why they will be used to achieve our goal.
The reason I say this is because, in my own case, I find it easier to think about and visualize about things I’ve already done rather than my ideas for the future. I have a lot of ideas for the future, but they’re hard to visualise at this stage. I’m much better with ideas about the past, although again, even my past fails to inspire me.

Creative marketing is usually done to get attention and to get people to buy your work. But it doesn’t mean you have to sell the old stuff. Just take your old work, turn it into new images, and make your old images new too. What is old is new all over again.
If you want people to know what youre working on, you can repurpose old images all you want. And if your old images suck, you can still get a lot of new work done with them, too.
