Technology may seem like the one thing to worry about, but there is so much more that needs to be addressed. Violence is one of those things that is often overlooked, but the fact is that the technology we use to commit these acts is also a part of it.
One of the things that I think is very important to understand about technology is that it changes so much. Think about this for a minute: Think about what technology you might have used in your youth and how that same technology has changed. We’re going to talk about guns, cars, and computer games in the next section, but there are tons of other examples that go beyond those three.
Technology is also a function of the human. There are things that we can do with technology that we don’t know how to do. For example, we can make a game called Moshok to try to take a bullet from a kid and kill him. It’s only going to get worse, but it’s still good for us.
And so far, we are not even aware that we are getting enough information to go off and do something stupid. It’s just that we are not getting enough information to find out what exactly is going on. It’s about time we get serious about the technology of the new generation of computers.
We already have a generation of kids dying from technology. The majority of them are dead because they have no idea who their parents are or how to tell them when the time has come to kill them. Its a lot easier to turn your parents into a zombie than it is to kill them yourself.
As it turns out, the majority of these kids that have grown up in a world where they can kill their parents are the ones who don’t really know how to. They’ve never learned any of the basic skills of killing that come naturally to human beings, and its just a matter of time before they get killed by a new computer virus that is going to wipe out all their family information.
There are two things wrong with this idea. The first is that it implies that violent people could not have the knowledge or skills to kill their own parents, as if you can’t just shoot your parents with a gun. This is a misconception at best. The second problem is that it suggests that violent people could not have the knowledge or skills to kill their own parents.
There is a well known saying in the Bible that says, “I have no knowledge of the things of the LORD.” I would argue however that this saying is not just a statement of knowledge but also a statement about the value of knowledge. Although we know that humans can learn skills, it is only in the last few hundred years that we have come to the idea of an innate ability to learn.
The fact is, we don’t know how to kill our parents. We know that we can kill our parents but it is usually by accident. We can kill them with a knife but we have no idea how we kill them. We could look after them but we don’t. We could talk to our parents but we don’t. We can love them but we don’t. So what we do is to just let them die. We don’t even try to prevent them from dying.
