In the spirit of a new baby name, I thought I would share some of my favorites.
We just picked a name for the first time since we launched our first campaign recently. I had been a very active participant in the campaign so I thought I would share a few of my favorites with you.
I have to admit that I am not a fan of the word “smart,” so I picked a name that I think will be hard to spell out, so in the event that someone else gets the same idea I will most likely come up with a new name.
We have been very fortunate to have some incredibly creative and creative family members and friends who have come together to support us. Today we are naming our first child after the very first thing that we ever asked them for. I picked a name that will never be a word, just an acronym, so I thought it would be a good idea to be able to say it out loud while writing it down. I hope to have a boy and a girl so that we can share the same name.
To make my first name more memorable we will use a number of family names that I know of, but I would like to name their names as well. We are not allowed to name the children we love, but we will name the kids we love. So why not name them after the kids we love? It’s fun to imagine.

I remember there was an article about the names that most people used when they fell in love with someone.
The article made it clear that the names most people used were the names of the people themselves, not the objects of their affections. So it is not uncommon to find an article that talks about the names a girl wants to give her boyfriend, but the article doesn’t talk about the boy she is dating, or the names she wants to give him. The only name the article mentions is the name the girl herself was named after.
There are some interesting patterns here. We see that the first word you use when you think of someone is the name of the person you are thinking of. For example, if you think of your mother, you use her name, not the words “mom” or “mommy.
