Aerospace engineering is an interesting field to study because it deals with the construction of both large and small aircraft. In fact, the aerospace industry is the largest in the US, with aerospace companies accounting for around a tenth of the entire US economy. The problem with the Army Air Corps is that they are not actually trying to build an aircraft. They are just testing the idea of using their technology to create a plane that they can test planes on.
